He remembers the names of some teachers and the punishments which were applied to some pupils. Some of them were a hammer hit, or hitting with a ruler into the ear. Although he made an effort in
the interview he is not able to remember anything about studying moments. However he can do it telling about the classroom characteristics.
His parents did not assist to the concerned tutorial.
He repeated too many times in Secondary so he did not finish this stage.
He would like to train either himself or in an academy but it is not possible because of working-timetables.
Martín
(25)
He tells to have been a good student until the sixth course of Primary. One of his hobbies was reading. He did not continuo studying because of the lack of motivation at
home and at school. The lessons were monotonous and boring. If they did not know the lesson they were punished to kneel down or to stand up but teachers did not do the try to understand why he
have not studied.
He did neither finish Secondary because the school did not get involved in pupils.
Yonatan
(15)
He can remember the reader which he learnt to read with and the teacher who
helped him. Some methodology to learn were a telephone to learn the numbers, posters saying “right” and “left” which nowadays help him to orientate. Primary was boring to him, lessons and too
many homework.
He had a sixty-year old teacher who pulled some pupils´ ears if the talked too much, however he taught them mathematics in a fast way.
The first course of Secondary was a disaster. He recognizes it is his fault in the negative results. He changed school and he is improving with teacher motivation and their confidence.
